It took 3 years but it happened!
Hey there!
Thanks again for your time. It really does mean a lot to me that you're here🙌
Isn't life funny?!
Just the other week, I finally got to see someone I've been wanting to see for YEARS!
Tony Robbins!

One of the world's most famous performance coaches.
Yes, yes, the guy with the croaky voice, used to be the informercials in the 80s apparently, and does talks all over the world.
And since COVID, millions tune into his livestream events too.
When I went to Europe in 2023, I took one of his books with me. Well not his book, it was mine - but he was the author. You know what I mean.
One reason I took his book was because it was MASSIVE. I was confident I wouldn't run out of reading material on the flight. Actually, this has just reminded meDaniel, I don't think I have finished it yet!
I wanted to go see him in September 2023 but couldn't take time off work. My boss (who's name is also Dan) had time off with his kids for the school holidays.
But this time, it's this Dan's turn to go!
Road trip to Sydney! 🚗

See, here's what I believe - there's a right timing for everything.
If I saw Tony Robbins back in 2023, I would have enjoyed it for sure. But the fact that I got to see him the other week, in 2026, when I'm starting this thing about sharing ideas in an engaging and humourous way, (which you all are a big part of 🙏), I got so much out of.
I'll share with you in a later post what I learnt.
But briefly, one thing I did learn, for example, was this.
Tony has the most usual clap you've ever seen!
Even though I was sitting up in section 65 on the third tier of the Afterpay Arena, I couldn't help but notice it. It's like he's clapping with the base of his hands, and hitting his left hand with his right, with a jerky movement in between claps. 😂
Aaaannnnndddd I like it!
Why? Because it reminds of this fun time!
So now, to try and get myself back into a pumped-up-I've-just-been-to-a-Tony-Robbins-concert-and-I-want-to-feel-great-again, I imitate his clap, shaking my hands in front of my girlfriend Wilma. Said girlfriend then shakes her head, thinking "oh no, here he goes again".
They say (who's they exactly anyway?) that when one door closes, another one opens. But what they don't tell you is that the first door is actually a revolving door which comes back around in 3 years time. And by then, you're a better version of yourself!
So, is it possible that a missed chance can come around for you again? And can it be at a time that will actually do more for you?
Thanks for reading!
Daniel
